QUESTION
How can I check whether Nuon Cloud is up, degraded, or down?
ANSWER
Check the status page first: https://status.nuon.co is the single source of truth for real-time and historical status of Nuon Cloud. It shows one of three states — operational (everything healthy), degraded (partial or slow service, some functionality impaired), or outage (a component is down) — per component.
What's covered: the status of each Nuon Cloud service, including the control plane, runner API, phone-home, builds and deploys, and the dashboard. During a degraded or outage event you'll see the affected components, a description of impact, and live updates as we work the incident.
Subscribe for proactive alerts: on status.nuon.co you can subscribe to get notified (email, SMS, webhook, or RSS) the moment a component goes degraded or into an outage, and when it's resolved — so you don't have to check manually.
Status page vs. your install: the status page reflects Nuon Cloud (the control plane and shared services), not the health of your own application install running in a customer's VPC. If Nuon Cloud shows operational but you're seeing problems in your environment, check your install's dashboard and logs; the issue is likely local to your install, not a Nuon Cloud incident.
Review past incidents: the status page also keeps a history of prior degraded and outage events with resolution details, so you can review uptime and past post-mortems.
If it's not on the status page: if you're experiencing an issue that isn't reflected as degraded or outage on status.nuon.co, reach out to Nuon in Slack and include your org ID, install ID, and the timestamps you observed so we can investigate quickly.
